Balneario De Carolina: Sun, Sand & Potluck

Let’s take advantage of the beautiful Caribbean weather and enjoy a fun day at Carolina Beach! Yay!

Swimming is optional! If you prefer to simply lounge, relax under the shade, enjoy the scenery, socialize, and eat, that’s perfectly fine too. Come enjoy the beach at your own pace!

Bring fun beach paraphernalia like beach balls, frisbees, badminton rackets, floats, or anything else that will make the day more fun.

Location: Balneario de Carolina Beach, Puerto Rico
We’ll meet at the beach area near the shaded picnic/gazebo areas, where we can relax, eat, socialize, and enjoy the ocean. We’ll share a phone number a few days before the event.

Food & Drinks: POTLUCK!
Bring your favorite dish or two to share. We’d love everyone to bring something representative of your country or culture. Meat, seafood, pasta, appetizers, desserts, fruits, and other specialties are welcome. Vegetarians and vegans, please bring your favorite veggie dish.

Please reply and let us know what food you’re bringing so we can avoid too much duplication.

What to Bring:
• Your own plates, cups, and utensils
• Beach chair or folding chair
• Beach blanket or towel
• Swimwear and sunblock, if you plan to swim
• Hat/sunglasses
• Food and drinks to share
• Any beach games or fun equipment
