InterNations and The Sarasota Sister Cities Association invite you to an enlightening evening at Selby Library, featuring Christa Molinaro, Director of Exhibitions at the Sarasota Art Museum (SAM).
Christa will guide you through the fascinating puzzle of creating an exhibition—from initial planning and collaborating with artists, to transporting artwork and designing the museum space. Discover how all the pieces come together to create a cohesive and compelling exhibit.

About Christa Molinaro
Christa Molinaro is the Director of Exhibitions at the Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design, bringing over twenty years of museum experience. Since joining SAM in Protected content , she has played a central role in shaping its exhibition program, from the museum’s inaugural exhibitions in Protected content its ongoing curatorial initiatives.
Before Sarasota, Christa held key positions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Museum of Modern Art, and the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art, and completed an internship at The Charleston Museum. In her current role, she oversees the administrative, logistical, and production aspects of all museum exhibitions, fostering strong collaborations with artists, lenders, guest curators, contractors, institutional partners, and colleagues to ensure the successful execution of every project.
