Treasure Island Kite Festival
Hello everyone,
Join us for the Treasure Island Kite Festival on January 17 at 3:00 PM! We’ll gather at the in front of Britt’s Pizza Bar and Grill at 3:00pm, before heading onto the beach at 3:15pm. Please note, Treasure Island Beach is a vast, open stretch, and it can be tricky to find people amid the festivities and flying kites—so arriving at the meeting point promptly is recommended.
Please also note since the beach area will be busy due to the festival, plan your commute ahead of time including finding parking and walking to the meeting spot.
From 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, we’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of giant kites painting the sky and watch kite ballet routines set to music, plus sport competitions and team displays. If there’s enough interest, we’ll head out together for dinner at a nearby restaurant after our kite-filled afternoon. Whether you’re a regular at InterNations or a first-time visitor, come for the color, stay for the community!
