Saturday Trip to Chambery, New Zealand and Costa Rica
Anyone up for paying a visit to Chambery? Just like one year ago, the capital town of Savoie will host a vast cultural program that features dances from around the world.
Plan then is to head to Chambery on Saturday afternoon and catch the New Zealand - Costa Rica dances on Saturday. Maybe we'll post something for Sunday as well, when Spain and United States take the stage.
About Saturday: they plan is to meet up in Chambery around 3pm and have a walk along the waterfall trail to Charmettes, following the footsteps of philosopher Rousseau. This will also allow us to visit the country house, where Rousseau spent most of his time (between Protected content Protected content , with benefactress Madame de Warens, as well as enjoy its botanical garden. This month the house also hosts an interesting exhibit on writer George Sand, who is most renowned for her relationship with Chopin.

Walk should take about 3 hours and is rated as easy.
