“Vinyasa Krama Yoga Autumn Retreat”
From October 24th to 26th, we will gather at the historic Convent of Santa Clara in Palma del Río, a place of calm and contemplation that invites us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what is essential.
During this retreat, we will delve into the foundations of Vinyasa Krama Yoga, as transmitted by my teacher Sri Ramaswami Srivatsa, a direct disciple of T. Krishnamacharya.
The pillars of this teaching are:
🌿 Vinyasa Krama: the science of sequencing. Each movement is linked with the breath and has a purpose, creating a conscious and progressive practice.
🌿 Prāṇāyāma: the expansion of vital energy through the breath, cultivating calm, clarity, and vitality.
🌿 Dhyāna: meditation as the central axis.
🌿 Philosophical Study
We will also reflect and practice around the four attitudes of the heart:
✨ Muditā (shared joy)
✨ Maitrī (friendship and kindness)
✨ Karuṇā (compassion)
✨ Upekṣā (equanimity)
🪔 This year, the retreat coincides with Diwali, the Festival of Light in India, a celebration that reminds us that we can always light our own inner lamp (dīpa), dispel the darkness of ignorance, and open ourselves to clarity, joy, and new beginnings.
Shared and private rooms available.
Full board, adapted to all allergies and dietary needs.
