Norton Street Italian Festa - Annual Street Festivals
Join for a fun free of entry costs day out to eat, drink, dance, listen to music and enjoy the festa's Italian highlights. This festa attracts people from all over Sydney with hundreds of stallholders showcasing and selling the latest, the unusual and the best in products, and food, coffee and delicious Italian gelato as well as authentic, thick and creamy hot chocolate.
This is one of the largest annual street festivals in Australia and has been running since Protected content . This year we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Norton Street Italian Street Festa, in Leichhardt, in the heart of Sydney’s ‘Little Italy’.
The Festa features entertainment, free cooking demonstrations by the best Italian professional chefs PLUS the best local Italian (grandmothers) Nonnas , food, drinks and community activities and is stretched over a kilometre of Norton Street, closed to traffic for the festa.
