"La Lucha De Abril" Race in Badalona - Every Step Counts
SPG52 (Spastic Paraplegia Type Protected content an ultra-rare genetic disease. To put it in perspective: there are only 3 known cases in Spain and 55 in the entire world. Abril is one of them.
Currently, this condition has no cure, but we are racing against time to change that.
Why are we running?
Abril’s family has achieved the impossible: starting the first research project in the world at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. But research needs resources, and that’s where you come in.
Goal: To fund the clinical research that could save Abril and others like her.
No medication exists yet, but hope is in motion. Whether you run, walk, or donate, you are helping us cross the most important finish line of all: a cure.
