Let's Sketch on Land and Sea!

We will meet in the famous Baylan café in Kadıköy before boarding the Eminönü ferry to do some warm-up sketches as we float slowly by the amazing Istanbul skyline. Then we will continue drawing at Yeni Camii in Eminönü, its inner courtyard an oasis of calm, its spectacular interior displaying many classic Ottoman features.
All skill levels welcome. Just bring a sketchbook and some drawing materials. Technical proficiency is not important. The emphasis will be on enjoying the process and engaging with the city through the time-honoured method of drawing.
