Decollage Doodle
The Habits exhibition at the Decollage Art Space in Suadiye offers us a unique opportunity--to add our own work to the art on the walls!
First, we will visit Betül Sertkaya's first solo show, where, in drawings, paintings and video, she reshapes memories of archives, art history, everyday imagery and her own personal observations.
Then we will have the chance to complete some unfinished images and place them among the artist's own work.
Later we will visit the gallery café to take part in the Doodle challenge: a fun drawing competition where we can reference our own memories, or simply draw what's around us.
Materials provided by the venue, but bring more if you wish. Top prize is a session at one of the art gallery's workshops.
All skill levels welcome.
