After an apparently trivial argument, Marta and Antonio separate. Marta goes through the breakup with sadness, but soon senses there’s something more behind her fatigue than heartbreak. When she discovers she’s ill, she begins to reconnect with the small pleasures of life — a tender, life-affirming invitation to exist without fear.
