The event that opens the wine season every year is back!
The Athens Wine & Art Festival, the most inspiring encounter between wine and art, opens its doors once again on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October, at the historic OLYMPIAS building, located at the corner of Athinas and Sofokleous streets, in the heart of Athens’ historic center.
Small and medium-sized wineries from all over Greece — and from abroad — present their wines and invite visitors to a unique tasting experience.
This year, the artistic direction of the festival is curated by the renowned art curator Iris Kritikou, who brings together a group exhibition featuring painting, sculpture, engraving, and weaving, all specially inspired by wine, place, and time.
