Helsinki Biennial

For those who have not seen it yet, let's go to the Biennial. It's gona be great weather! :-)
Helsinki Biennial Protected content a major contemporary art event showcasing 37 artists or collectives from Finland and around the world.
The theme of the biennial’s third edition, Shelter, takes inspiration from the habitat of Vallisaari Island, which has been preserved from human habitation for decades. The biennial reflects on the fragile relationship between humanity and the natural world. Moving beyond human-centric perspectives, the featured artworks foreground animals, plants, fungi, insects and minerals. The biennial seeks to forge new spaces of protection and inspire positive environmental action.
The regular ferry service to Vallisaari Island runs from the Market Square’s Keisarinluodonlaituri pier. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. On Vallisaari Island, the ferries arrive at Luotsipiha and depart from Torpedolahti.
You can buy ferry tickets online, onboard the water buses, and at the ticket booth at Market Square.
I am aiming to take the ferry at 11:30 from Market Square
See you there!
