Coastal Defence Museum
Let’s explore the Museum of Coastal Defence, which consists of 11 galleries introducing military arrangements, port facilities, stories of multi-ethnic soilders who served in Hong Kong, etc.
It was converted from the old Lei Yue Mun Fort with a history of more than Protected content . Apart from the indoor display, there is an outdoor historical trail with rare Victorian fortifications in Asia, Torpedo Station built in a case on the shore, tunnels, and spectacular view of the Lei Yue Mun Channel.
The museum café provides a comfortable environment which is adorned with panoramic sea views and trees.
On the way to the museum, we can also visit a temple built in Protected content .
