How many trees can you plant? 🌿

In light of taking advantage of this rainy season, or if you have a tree planting target, or if you missed the last tree planting activity...
here's an opportunity to join a FREE tree planting event this season!

This tree planting activity is organised by SEWA Kenya. All they need is volunteers to plant the trees. You can also donate Protected content tree.

Last year in April, joining other volunteers from SEWA, we planted:
Wk 1: Sasumua Dam in Nyandarua- Protected content
Wk 2: Ruai Sewage Treatment- Protected content
Wk 3: Ruai Sewage Treatment Plant- Protected content
...

The venue this coming Sunday is Ruai Sewage treatment plant. ( Protected content )

PLAN:
8:00am Meet in Westlands to carpool to Ruai. Or meet us in Ruai at ~9am.
9:30am Volunteer to plant the 1,000 trees! Remember to keep count! 🌿🌿🌿
12:30pm Lunch together (Kenyan and Indian options available).
1:00pm Carpool back to Westlands. Option to leave earlier by uber is possible.

PROVIDED:
- 1,000 trees🌱: Fruit trees, Cyprus, Jacaranda and Acacias
- Predug holes
- Logistics (reach out for carpooling with other volunteers)
- Lunch, snacks, tea, soda and water

CARRY:
Water, hiking shoes, rain coat, snacks, gloves
