Lagos Thugs (Afrobeat From Nigeria)
Life-affirming afrobeat straight from Lagos, Nigeria. With infectious polyrhythms, powerful horn arrangements and a buzzing collective energy, Lagos Thugs offer both a classic and fresh take on the afrobeat tradition. The young 10-piece orchestra from Lagos has, in just a few years, established itself as one of Nigeria’s most compelling live bands, where improvisation, groove and political awareness reach beyond the stage and invite audiences to dance. Expect an explosive concert with Lagos Thugs this Sunday.
