Wine Tasting for a Good Cause
Dear wine lovers,
Join us for a tasting of the best of Germany! From the most northern quality vineyards in the world (just south of Berlin), to the sun-kissed hills of Baden, via those funny bottles in Franken that look like table-tennis bats, we will discover that there is much more than Riesling in these varied and exciting regions (to be clear, there is a shed-load of Riesling).
We will hear about the local geography, history and regulations as well as learning how to read those insanely confusing labels. These red, white, rosé and sparkling wines will show you how German wines have become the latest sensation among sommeliers worldwide.
The tastings will be served with specially selected bread, cheese and salami. This wine tasting is perfect for anyone who takes great joy in a good glass of wine in good company!
Our IN friend and wine expert Sean Roe is kindly hosting and sponsoring the event. All the money collected will go to the OneDollarGlasses charity.
Worldwide, more than Protected content people would need a pair of glasses, but cannot afford it. The OneDollarGlasses provides them with a lightweight, flexible spring steel frame and prefab lenses that can be locally manufactured with simple bending machines. The material costs approximately 1 US$. For more information: Protected content
