Radical Tenderness - Exhibition Rudolfinum

Let’s meet and explore together a very interesting topic, idea and let’s discuss it afterwards in a very nice cafe by the river bank… “Radical Tenderness is an open conversation that begins with the question: How can we imagine a different kind of public space? It is a call to unlearn inherited structures of power and representation and to dream differently. To open ourselves – bravely and tenderly – and envision new horizons. A place not built on hierarchy, but on openness, care, and active engagement. A space where we could meet differently, remember our diverse histories, and together, with both joy and criticality, shape the contours of a future yet to come.”
The artist Ivan Argote: Through his sculptures, installations, films, and interventions, Iván Argote, a Colombian artist based in Paris, explores our relationships with others, power structures, and belief systems. He develops strategies rooted in tenderness, affection, and humour, creating critical perspectives on dominant historical narratives. His interventions on monuments and large-scale ephemeral and permanent public artworks propose new symbolic and political uses of public space.
