PAW25: PragueArtWeek 2025 Ora Et Lege III Saïat Nova—New Hour
I warmly invite you to the third edition of Ora et lege, where we're going to explore text as a site of polyphony. Drawing inspiration from the eighteenth-century poet Saïat Nova Protected content Armenian who lived in Georgia and wrote in multiple languages and alphabets—and who saw text as not only visual, but also performative and sonic. His work created cross-cultural dialogue on the page, and this exhibition brings together artists who carry that spirit into today’s political and social contexts in a polyphonic, multi-sensory art & performance environment.
At 14:00 we will be guided through the exhibition by the curator Elene Abashidze, followed at 15:00 by a performance with Deva Schubert & Chihiro Araki, and at 16:00 by a listening session with rivermoans.
The program lasts around three hours in total, and admission is free.
