The Beatles, 60 Years Later

There are moments that become legend. Moments that live again in the memories of those who were there, but, above all, in the photographs that have frozen those moments forever, consigning them to history. Photography, its power to be a time machine, can transport to where and when that story was written.
62 shots, selected among 500. The 4, recently named baronets by Queen Elizabeth, also touched Genoa (chosen because considered similar to Liverpool) and Rome.
At the Central Station,over Protected content await them. The speaker tries to mislead, announcing the train arriving at platform 7, instead of 3. The human tide is not fooled. There are 4 Alfa Romeo Spiders ready, but they all get into one car to escape the chaos first and head towards the Grand Hotel Duomo.
The day after the press conference, followed by a photo shoot on the hotel terrace, with the Madonnina in the background: images that will become the symbol of the Italian tour.
One concert in the afternoon, the other in the evening. 7 photographers choose to shoot in the afternoon, there is more light and less crowd. First,the performance of various Italian artists.
Screams and fainting for the twelve songs on the playlist. The photos portray the Beatles in dark suits, white shirts and black ties, Lennon wear a Dylan-inspired hat. A crowd of excited young people,even if not a single record is in the Italian top ten, crossed by the same feelings as their peers in the rest of the world.
