Hike for the Wine

Come to a shorter than usual, but more interesting hike to the Gerecse hills, and drink some wines from the Transdanubian wine region.
Saint Vincent is the patron saint of winegrowers and he is celebrated on 22 January each year. On this occasion the wine cellars open their gates in Baj, in a small village below the hills of Gerecse, and welcome the wine lovers to taste their wines.
What's better to connect this with some physical activity. So we will approach the wines by a hike. We will visit nice viewpoints, a ruin chapel and a Calvary in the forest. This will make us good appetite to check what food the wineries offer to escort the wines. After we've explored all the cellars, we can return to Budapest or visit the charming city of Tata.
Distance: 9 km
Elevation: Protected content (with longer walk uphill at the beginning)
As usual, please send me p.m. if you want to come.
The price of wine tastings and delicacies varies from cellar to cellar, visiting the cellars is free!
