Back to Black
The film about Amy Winehouse, the British singer who died prematurely at the age of 27 in Protected content .
Born and raised in London, a family of Jewish descent, parents divorced, Amy Jade Winehouse was a free young woman with a love of jazz music, a sense of humour and a taste for swearing. Amy has a powerful voice, volume, groove, she grew up listening to African-American music. No one can stand up to her and no man can stand by her the way she wants. Everything changes when Blake Fielder-Civil, a drug addict who seduces her by mimicking Leader of the Pack by the Shangri-Las, enters 'The Good Mixer' in Camden. It is love at first sight, the beginning of a devastating relationship for both of them. The film focuses on the love story between Amy and Blake because it is of unrequited love, of that viscous blackness, that back to us that follows every ending, that Winehouse has always sung about, winning over audiences all over the world. Marisa Abela, also vocally, is a captivating and convincing Winehouse. More than a truthful reconstruction, this is as respectful a portrait as possible of a woman left alone to struggle with wounds that are perhaps too old.
