La Fête Nationale Française |Bastille Celebration in Bishop Arts
14 of July is Le Fete Nationale. Basically, French Independence Day.
Every year Bishop Arts has a large Block Party to celebrate Bastille Day on the 14th of July. This year may be massive since France is actually playing a Semi-Final World Cup match at AT&T Stadium vs Spain on this same day around 2pm. Few InterNations friends will watch this world cup Semi- Final at Cannon's Corner Irish Pub on Protected content . Davis in North Oak Cliff. Game should end around 4: Protected content - and group can easily walk or drive to nearby Bishop Arts to celebrate Bastille Day block party. Since Bishop Street and surrounding streets will be blocked off. You may need to park in nearby neighborhood street. Just DO NOT any driveways and look for "No Parking" signs. DO NOT Park at Cafe Brazil Lot - They will tow your car from there. Other options is to park in nearby neighborhoods like Uptown, Design District etc and UBER from there. Of take DART RED Line or Blue line to Union Station and then get on Trolly a block away into Bishop Arts from there. Just an FYI, around 9pm - I plan to wind down and go to The Wild Detectives to relax and have coffee. The Wild Detectives is a Bookstore, Bar and Coffee Shop and open until midnight.
Keep an eye on the weather / forecast since it may rain on this day or part of this day. At least temperatures will not be so HOT.
