Museum Happy Hour

Sorry for the short notice this time, folks, but let's go to the always lovely Phillips after 5 this Thursday. Tickets are $20 for museum non-members and must be purchased in advance here -- Protected content . Tickets often sell out, so I encourage you to buy a ticket ASAP if you'd like to join. Admission is free for museum members and no advance registration is required.

The event begins at 5pm and you are welcome to arrive whenever you like. I will be in the lobby at 6pm to meet folks. If you arrive earlier or later, please make your way to wherever the museum is serving drinks and playing music (probably the Music Room). I'll be there until at least 6:30pm and will post what I'm wearing in the event description for those who don't know me. After that, I and others may wander to explore the exhibits and the evening's special offerings. I will not be checking my phone throughout the evening.

The (apt) theme this month is I Heart Art. In the museum's own words--

Indulge your love for all things creative! Make friendship bracelets, listen to live music from indie band Color Palette, sample sweet treats from The Chocolate House, meet fellow art aficionados during a speed-friending activity, and take a trip to the City of Love through our special exhibition An Italian Impressionist in Paris: Giuseppe De Nittis.
