Book Discussion: "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck
This very short novel narrates the misadventures of two field workers during the Great Depression. Steinbeck's most popular work, it is loved by both critics and English teachers, and hated by censors. It was written so it could be used as the script for a play, and it has indeed been adapted multiple times to both the screen and the stage. Lets meet to discuss it on the last week of October.
As always, I recomend you plan ahead and give yourself enough time to finish the book before the event, so you can enjoy the discussion without spoilers.
