The Holy Egg history in art and Original Print Fair

Come for a pre-Easter day out. We will meet up and listen to an art talk by Gavin Turk on Eggs in art and visit Original Print Fair exhibition (there are some comlimentary tickets) and then we will have a chat time at Someset house cafe.
Someset house is a well known venue in the central London for the high end art exhibitions/ talks and workshops.
British artist, Gavin Turk will talk about his latest publication with Manifold Editions Holy Eggs. The egg is evocative of the alpha and omega of all things, life and creation, originality, fragility and mortality. Turk uses the symbol of the egg to explore the delicate relationship between life and art.
The longest running art fair in London, founded in Protected content the Royal Academy of Arts, comes to Somerset House for its 38th edition.
The Fair is a celebration of printmaking in all its forms, spanning six centuries from the 15th century works of Dürer and his contemporaries to that of emerging contemporary artists. Highlights include work by Rembrandt, Picasso, Matisse, Hockney, Freud, Warhol, Rego and Emin.
