French Speaking Picnic in Hyde Park
Let’s have a French Picnic in Hyde Park on Sunday.
What about having a picnic inspired by French cuisine and culture?
Let's spend Sunday in the park mingling and speaking French. I encourage everyone who speaks French to take this opportunity to practise the language during the afternoon.
Bring anything you need for a picnic: a picnic blanket, a folding camping chair, a picnic cooler bag…
You can bring paper plates, cups, plastic cutlery and napkins.
If you want to bring French food, you are more than welcome to do so. It can be crisps, sandwiches, bread with pate or cheese, cure meats, French salad (like niçoise salad), quiche (like quiche Lorraine), Fruits, homemade cakes and anything else that you can think of.
If you don’t have time to cook or buy French food, don’t worry, bring a packed lunch.
For drink, you can bring French wine, pastis… Don’t forget water, soft drinks, juice, whatever you fancy.
We will meet at the entrance of the park and we will walk together to a nice spot.
Attendees will receive a message with the meeting point prior to the event.
Let’s enjoy the sun and spend a pleasant afternoon in the park.
A bientôt.
