Kew Bridge - Richmond - Twickenham brisk walk

Join us for a brisk walk along the river from Kew Bridge to Twickenham.
Meeting point: 11.45am in front of The Cricketers - Kew Green
Please note that it takes approx 15 mins walk from Kew Gardens (District Line) tube station and 10 mins walk from Kew Bridge (train / overground station).
We will take the passage along the river, pass by Kew Palace, cross the river in Richmond, pass Marbe Hill and go through York House Gardens to visit the eight sea nymphs called ‘the Naked Ladies’ carved from white Carrara marble atop a rock garden.
We will finish the walk in either The White Swan or the Barmy Arms in Twickenham. Both pubs are Protected content from Twickenham train station and there are buses that can take you back to Richmond.
The walk will be led by Banu Tavener.
All welcome to join, in the same time please note this is planned to be a brisk walk and should take approx 1.5-2 hours.
Please also check transport prior to the tour and see how you will get to Kew Green by 11.45 and how you can get home from Twickenham.
