Mexican Tapas in a 1920s Hospital Turned Haven
Possibly the first modernist building in Singapore, this wedge-shaped three-storey century-old British hospital building is home to, supposedly, the oldest working electric lift in Singapore.
The vintage elevator was built in Protected content transport patients – women and children – to the rooftop for fresh air and sunshine.
The building is uniquely shaped to the triangular piece of land it stands on and features a distinctive triangular airwell.
Protected content . Here, classic Mexican dishes are reinvented in tapas form, crafting small plates that tell big, flavourful stories.
