Winter Walk in Seurasaari + Cafetarina

Meant for relaxing and enjoying the silence, a winter walk calms you after a week of work indoors. We can walk together (in silence, or not!) as we do in Finland & be sure to wrap yourself snugly!
Q: How long does it take to get from Helsinki Central Station to Seurasaari (Station)? A: The line 4 tram from Lasipalatsi to Meilahdentie takes 13 min including transfers and departs every 15 minutes. There is also bus line no 24 to Seurasaari. There is a bus stop close to the railway station at "Lasipalatsi", only a short walk (one block) from the station.
The nature of Seurasaari is forested with rocky hills, moist bends, and groves. The island's animals are used to people, but the southern shore is protected as a feeding area for baby birds. The area of Seurasaari is about 46 ha. I USUALLY turn around and then make a big turn. Depending on your pace, we can try Protected content and conclude at Cafetarina in Munkkiniemi around 6 pm, or you can go straight there for a hot chocolate drink laced with mint! Protected content

The Seurasaari island provides a nice setting for outdoor recreation, sun worshippers, and walkers. The tame ducks, swans, and geese swarming around the bridge welcome everybody. Having crossed the white wooden bridge a visitor can't help running into the happy little squirrels of the island. At the Open-Air Museum of Seurasaari, the traditional Finnish way of life is displayed in the cottages, farmsteads, and manors of the past!
