Terrafilia, beyond the human
Fruit of the mixture of the terms 'terra' (Earth) and 'filia' (love and friendship), this exhibition aims to establish a deep connection of affection, care and responsibility towards the Earth and its countless inhabitants.
Terrafilia brings together around one hundred works spanning five centuries from the Thyssen-Bornemisza, Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza and Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary collections, including artists such as Joachim Patinir, Wassily Kandisnky, Natalia Goncharova, Dineo Seshee Bopape, Inês Zenha, Ayrson Heraclito and Hervé Yamguen.
