Warhol, Pollock, and Other American Spaces
The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum is organizing an exhibition that brings together the work of these two key figures in 20th-century art, along with other artists who, during the same period, explored issues related to new spatial strategies.
Andy Warhol's influence is fundamental to contemporary art and pop culture, marked by his leadership of Pop Art, his use of screen printing for the mass production of images, and his fusion of high culture with consumer culture. He also influenced film, the exploration of fame, design, advertising, and the way we perceive art today.
Jackson Pollock's legacy lies in the revolution he introduced to painting through abstract expressionism and his dripping technique, which transformed the canvas into a space for action and emotional expression.

Afterward, we'll go to a nearby bar for drinks, tapas, and to discuss our experiences with the exhibition and socialize, kicking off the weekend.
