Presentation of the Book "Images of Peru"

For this event Mahlon Bash is going to present us his book "Images of Peru".
Mahlon Barash, is an InterNations member who has participated to some of our previous events. He is an American citizen, who has spent 37 years as an international professional and consultant in traditional microfinance and housing microfinance. His career has allowed him to live in Bolivia, Belize, the Philippines, Mexico, and Peru, and to work in and visit 50 other countries. M. Barash has lived in Peru for a cumulative total of over 21 years on four different occasions during the last 55 years. He first came to Peru in Protected content a Peace Corps volunteer, working for a Peruvian organization called Cooperación Popular, which built schools with communities’ collaboration in the province of Huamalíes, Huánuco.
He has loved this country since first encountering it because of its rich history, its variety in cultures, climate, and geography. It has afforded him amazing photographic opportunities, and vivid memories of the many friends he has made there. A passionate photographer, M. Barash has exhibited several photos of this book various times in the United States, Bolivia, and Peru.
This book has been a dream of his for a long time because he wanted to share with others some of his experiences through these images.
