"On Olympus: A Photographic Journey in Nature and the Pilgrimages of Pieria"
Athens gets to know Pieria, through a Photographic Journey in Nature and Pilgrimages.
The exhibition is co-organized by the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos, the Regional Unit of Pieria, the Pieria Organization for Tourism Development and Promotion (POTAP), the Numismatic Museum of Athens and the photographic community "Greek Instagramers Events".
Visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the natural wealth of Olympus, the world monument of nature and culture, the lowland and coastal horizon, the pilgrimages and places of worship, the historical and archaeological monuments, the customs of the inhabitants and their productive activities.
The works of the exhibition resulted from the photographic journey experienced by 25 invited photographers of the "Greek Instagramers Events" community as part of the action "#My_Olympus_Riviera" with the aim of promoting tourism and highlighting the unique beauties that the region of Pieria offers.
The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the support of the Hellenic Tourism Organization.
