Stuttgart ballet is world famous - and John Cranko, the legendary choreographer, who was active in Stuttgart in the Protected content and early Protected content raised the ballet to the world class.

Join us on Sunday evening for the ballet Onegin, choreographed by John Cranko.

[extract from the Stuttgart Ballet website]
"With his full-length ballet Onegin, John Cranko secured his place in the pantheon of great 20th century choreographers. Based on Alexander Pushkin’s dramatic verse novel „Eugen Onegin“, he tells the story of the arrogant and world weary aristocrat Onegin who rejects the love of the naïve country girl Tatiana only to realize - upon meeting her again years later - that in her he threw away the only woman who ever truly loved him. When he seeks her out to confess his love, Tatiana, by now matured and married to Prince Gremin, rejects Onegin although she secretly still loves him."

This is the dream team that is planned to perform on the Sunday evening (subject to change).
