This is last minute, but I am hoping you can make it :)

The Turkish-opera TROYA will be taking stage tonight, at 8 p.m, as part of the Istanbul Opera Festival. It is a grand production that incorporates ballet with opera.
Troya has been on the news quite often since its premiere in Ankara last Fall. This April, it became the first Turkish opera to ever be performed at the world-renowned, pres-ti-gious Bolshoi Theater in Moscow...

As a bonus surprise: For those of you who are familiar with Turkish ballet star, Tan Sagturk...He is in the role of Hector ('though he is only present during Act !)....

The role of Paris is played by our very own tenor Murat Karahan, a voice to take heed of... He made headlines in Italy's mainstream newspaper La Repubblica a few weeks ago, for a record number of lead roles in one of the most prestigious opera festivals in the world:the Verona.

Troya has also been featured in the June issue of London's Opera magazine (written by yours truly! :) )

The opera is in two-acts, just over two-hours long and based on the Illiad & Odyssey epics of Homer...

Tickets cost between 60 and Protected content and can be purchased at the door in CASH only.

Update/Edit: Students and those over the age of 65 can get tickets for 42 TL, for the back of the 1st balcony and for the 2nd balcony)

Please arrive no later than 7:45 p.m.
We can meet up at Cafe Nero if you arrive between 7-7:40 pm.
Be there!
