Star Party at a Texas Size Ranch
Enjoy the friendly ambiance of a 6,000 acre Ranch managed by Texas Tech University. The Three Rivers Ranch will host a public star party.
A professional astronomer will give a talk on the night sky. And we can look through large telescopes to see amazing images.
We will also be hiking in the local area the day before (11/6) and the day after (11/8) the Star Party.
There are a variety of overnight accommodations including Cabins and Camping and RV sites. See website for more info: Protected content
and click BOOK YOUR STAY
Driving distance from DFW to the Ranch is just a bit over Protected content .
There will be a fairly busy vibe the night of the Star Party, but the day before and after should be very chill. A perfect time to enjoy the serenity of vast open spaces.
