Eduardo Corzo’s Cuband Live
Come dance with us!
Eduardo Corzo: Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Eduardo Corzo grew up immersed in music — his father was a violinist in the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. He studied guitar and piano before graduating as a clarinetist from the prestigious Conservatorio Ignacio Cervantes, one of Cuba's foremost music conservatories.
His early career took him across Latin America as a composer, arranger, and musical director of the Conjunto Nacional de Espectáculos. He also composed and arranged for Cuban and Mexican television, establishing himself as a versatile and sought-after musical mind.
During the Protected content in Mexico, Eduardo performed on piano, clarinet, and alto saxophone alongside an impressive roster of artists, including singer-songwriters Lila Downs and Amaury Gutiérrez, as well as musicians Leoginaldo Pimentel, Hammadi Bayard, Oriente López, Pedro Cartas, and Gil Gutiérrez.
Since settling in the United States in Protected content , Eduardo has worked across a wide range of musical contexts — from Chicago to Denver to Los Angeles — before making San Francisco his home. He performs today as a soloist and alongside local and international ensembles.
His artistic vision is deliberately broad, drawing on Bach's partitas, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and musical traditions from around the world. Eduardo Corzo is, above all, a musician without borders — equally at home across genres, cultures, and continents.
