Budeč, Zákolany, Orkoř

Look forward to a mixed terrain touristik ride. We’ll ride through Šarka and then on lightly traveled roads to Zákolany, birthplace of former Czech president Zápotočky. From Zákolany we’ll climb a short but steep hill to the rotunda at Buděc, the middle ages fortress from the time of St. Vaclav. From there some more country roads and then along the beautiful bike/walking trail along the Zápotočky potok. That will take us to the ruined castle at Okoř, where we will find a place to eat. Then back to the start through Tuchomorice. A gravel, hybrid or mountain bike is recommended.
