Art Galleries and Studios - Monet opening exhibition
On October 19, at the Vittoriano in Rome, there is a great show dedicated entirely to CLAUDE MONET. On display about 60 works, the most dear to the artist, and Monet himself preserved in his last, most beloved Giverny's home: outstanding loans all from the Marmottan Monet Musée de Paris which in Protected content the 80 years of life and collects the most important and most significant of the works of the great French artist.
The exhibition Monet, which is to be held from October 19 to February Protected content the Vittoriano, showcases 60 works by the father of Impressionism that were originally kept in the artist’s beloved house in Giverney, his last home, before being donated to the Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris.
Monet transformed en plein air painting into a ritual of life. Working in blazing sunshine and pouring rain, with the slightest variations in the weather and in the empire of the sun, he transformed colours into energy.
As well as illustrating the evolution of Monet, the exhibition also reflects its multiple facets and the richness of his artistic production.
