Join us for a new session of the Great Authors of the Ateneu series, dedicated to the writer and cultural pioneer Carme Karr.
Throughout its history, the Ateneu has welcomed many writers who have been crucial to the development of Catalan literature over the past century. For this reason, we are presenting a series of readings led by philologists who have studied and edited these authors’ works, allowing us to explore a representative text from three writers associated with the institution.

In this session, Lluïsa Julià, Vice President of the Ateneu and scholar of 20th-century women writers, will discuss Clixés by Carme Karr (Barcino, Protected content examine the situation of feminist intellectuals from around Protected content .
