Cities are much more than buildings — they are infrastructures, networks, decisions about who can live where and how. In this first session of the RRReparem el futur series, we invite you to explore what lies beneath the surface of our urban lives: the cables under our feet, the networks that make our digital lives possible, and the environmental and social impacts these hidden systems have on the way we inhabit our cities.

We’ll open a conversation on how the climate crisis and invisible digital infrastructures shape contemporary cities. Architect Gemma Barricarte will guide us through what cities reveal — and conceal — through their material and digital layers. Resident project Radical Data and elii (Office of Architecture) will share experiments at the intersection of technology, urban space, and environmental care.

Join us to rethink the foundations of our cities and imagine more equitable and sustainable futures together.
