Afghan Food, Live Music, Dance Into May
Sedanplatz in Wiesbaden is the place to celebrate the arrvial of the beautiful month of may. Legend has it that on the night of April 30 to May 1, witches fly their broomsticks to meet the devil at the top of the highest peak in the Harz – known as the Brocken. Walpurgisnacht is most famously featured in a scene of Goethe’s masterpiece “Faust I,” a work that has helped to imprint the festival further onto the German psyche, helping explain its popularity. So be prepared to a wild dancing night ourside and in different locations at Sedanplatz
