French Days at the Glyptoteket

Drawing on the museum’s French collection, the festival highlights the ties, stories, and ideas that have linked Denmark and France throughout history, and how French art and culture continue to resonate today.
The festival program takes its cue from one of the museum’s most striking works, Gloria Victis, a monument to defeat, hope, and national narratives. Through talks, conversations, dance, food, and music, the festival opens up new perspectives on the role of art—both in history and in our present day.
Among other things, you can experience the French dance ensemble Minuit 12, a silent disco à la française, and a classical concert by The French Connection Academy.
