Join us for a delightful evening of fine wines from Luxembourg, France, Italy, all in support of the project OpenTeleRehab, designed to provide rehabilitation services to isolated populations.
The application will enable the delivery of remote rehabilitation services, improving access to care in settings where rehabilitation provision is limited. In the department, the therapist shows patients how to use the mobile application. Once they return home, patients can access their personalized treatment plan on their smartphone. This can include exercises, information, educational materials, and questionnaires. Therapists can arrange regular follow-up audio or video calls and monitor the patient’s progress and adherence to the plan.
The OpenTeleRehab application aims to improve access to rehabilitation services by optimizing hospital discharge, transitional care, and community follow-up. Its goals are to prevent repeated hospital stays for people with long-term needs, reduce costs for patients, optimize operations, and reduce barriers for people with disabilities in central Vietnam. Its offline features allow for easy use where internet access is limited, while the child-friendly version enhances the experience for younger users.
