Clair - Obscur

Claire Litzler is an amazing musician! She is a percussionist, singer, composer and arranger who has already won many awards in all of these domains. In this concert she will appear with TrioPlus in the series "Begegnung mit Musik" in the Kleines Klingental Museum in Basel.

TrioPlus (violin, viola and cello) will perform a rarely heard trio by Géza Frid, a piece largely influenced by Hungarian folk melodies. For the rest of the program the trio will accompany Claire as she plays the marimba and vibraphone, or sings some of her own compositions. This is a series of short pieces covering a large spectrum of popular musical styles.

The series "Begegnung mit Musik" is particularly convenient for families with young children. The children (ages Protected content to the first piece up front near the musicians and then are led off to a supervised workshop, which is run by experienced musical pedagogues who create activities related to the music that they just heard. The ticket prices are extremely favorable for people bringing children.
