Leidenschaft Und Schwärmerei
TrioPlus offers you a very attractive evening of chamber music by Richard Strauss, Ludwig van Beethoven and Robert Schumann. We are honored to present the internationally renowned pianist Claudio Martínez-Mehner as guest artist.
The concert begins with three short pieces for piano quartet by Richard Strauss. These delightful pieces have nothing to do with the composer's famous operas and symphonic works. Their charm will enchant the children sitting in the first row, as well as the rest of the audience.
The children will then go to a musical workshop in another part of the museum. This workshop is supervised by experienced pedagogical experts who know how to engage your children in a creative, interactive session where they explore the music they just heard.
The remaining audience members will now hear Beethoven's c-minor string trio and Schumann's piano quartet. In both cases, these works are representative of their composers' most productive years in which many of their most beloved masterpieces were composed.
Because of the advantageous ticket prices for people bringing children (ages 4 to 12), adults don't need to find a babysitter and can enjoy the rest of the program knowing that their kids are well taken care of.
These concerts are always followed by a traditional apéro where the audience can mingle with the musicians. The children have a special table and can show us what they accomplished in the musical workshop.
