Genre: Courtroom Drama / Surreal
Runtime: 25 min.
A Kafkaesque courtroom drama set in 19th-century Liverpool, where the trial of a corpse with no name and no past takes place. Dozens gather to witness this absurd ceremony—perhaps in search of justice, or simply to affirm their own place in a surreal legal ritual.
Testa o croce?
Directors: Matteo Zoppis, Alessio Rigo de Righi
Italy–USA, Protected content
Genre: Western / Drama
Runtime: Protected content .
At the beginning of the 20th century, Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show arrives in Italy, spreading the myth of the American frontier and inspiring Rosa, a young woman trapped in a suffocating marriage to a powerful landowner. After a rodeo between American cowboys and Italian butteri ends in tragedy, Rosa escapes with Santino, the fearless local rider who defeated the Americans.
The film reimagines the western genre through a unique blend of myth, humor, and surreal, dreamlike imagery—enhanced by its evocative 16mm and 35mm photography, where reality and illusion merge.
