Let’s Celebrate Easter and Have Picnic!
Dear Friends and Members,
As you might know, the Orthodox Easter takes place on Sunday, May 5th, so come and join us for an Easter celebration and the Easter picnic on one of our favorite islands. We will visit Protected content
in the morning and join the ceremony. The ceremony will start at 11:00 so I changed the meeting time.
What to Wear:
For the Easter service, people tend to dress up. For the most part, people are looking to avoid jeans and T-shirts and go a step up from that, whether that's khakis and a polo shirt, or a really nice dress.
What to add to your Easter Basket: Eggs and Easter cake are obligatory in the Easter basket. It is beautiful if the basket is decorated with cottage cheese and complemented by a red textile napkin, willow twigs, flowers, and a candle. If you want, you may add sausage, wine, and other products. Ladies, you may wear your floral wreaths.
After that, we will walk to the place where we can have our potluck picnic inside the Windmill Cape natural park (entrance is TRY Protected content the pine trees.
