The project of Dario D'Ambrosi and his Patologic Theater, in collaboration with the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Miur - Ministry of Education of the University and Research, Mibact - Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and Tourism, Euroma 2, Lorenzo de 'Medici - The Italian International Institute, is to bring in a very special version of the Medea of Euripides, at the end of an intense and successful theatrical training course for young people with different abilities titled The Magic of the Theater.

The show includes young people with disabilities and professional actors, including Almerica Schiavo in the role of Medea and Sebastiano Somma in the role of Creonte. This adaptation has as a central element of the show the relationship between body and language: a language-communicating body, thanks to the important role played by the live music of Francesco Santalucia and Papaceccio; language takes on substance mainly through the use of ancient Greek. Both the Italian and the ancient Greek use of the show (as a result of careful study work and philological consultations). What has highlighted the different moments and therefore the different use of the two languages is precisely the emotionality, the various emotional states that characterize this violent as touching story. Live music accompanies moments in ancient Greek, not as a simple musical carpet, but as true bodywork to enrich and complement the suggestions that will be evoked by an ancient and musical language; the Italian language will be left to the silence, the absence of music, to the full of suggestions and emotions that will be present in the monologues of Medea as in the rapid and intense exchanges of jokes.

The choice of the text and the subsequent work of experimentation show that D'Ambrosi's work with children with disabilities is not only a form of therapy but also the fantastic possibility of artistic and emotional expression, a place of aggregation and formation exciting to play and have fun seriously, where disabled children have been able to feel and be ultimately protagonists.

The boys who take part in the set-up are: Paolo Vaselli (in the role of Giasone), Fabio De Persio, Andrea Ferrari, Nicolò Fronticelli, Gilberto Giliberti, Paolo Giliberti, Silvia Sorcini, Marina Starace.
