Let's hike together Sunday Morning June 2nd at the Eco trail the Pipeline Road in Gamboa. The activity will include hiking for at least 6 km, and if the group decides we can venture for 12 dollars into the Rainforest Discovery Center. This trail is famous for the amount of species you can spot along the way!!! We will meet at the Balboa Boutique and then drive to Gamboa. I will really appreciate whomever can offer car sharing to accomodate for fellow expats who don't own a car.

Depending upon group walking pace it might take us the whole morning, and whomever wants to share lunch we can plan for eating in the discovery center or at the Gamboa summit resort.

For Transportation will depend on who is sharing the ride as the location of this trail is remote. 4x4 are recommended but not needed.

From Lonely planet

The Pipeline Road is one of the best known eco-trails in Panama and worldwide, due to the large number of birds that have been reported there. In addition to this, this path of 17 km in length is an excellent place to witness and enjoy a lot of Panama ́s biodiversity, including plants, butterflies, amphibians, monkeys and hundreds of other interesting wild creatures.
